Through the Storm
Today has been one of those days that has just been a little strange. The weather man has warned us all about a storm that is coming in from the north that will wreak havoc on all that lie in its path. They say that this storm will have winds up to one hundred miles per hour. I was told that is so fast that its considered a category one hurricane. It certainly is the fastest that I have seen around here in a long time. Also it is supposed to snow today so all the snow, commanded with the high winds will make it more like a blizzard out there. But if you ask me, I am not too confident with the weatherman’s forecast. But it seems like I am the only one. I talked to lots of your friends who told me that they were scarring to the store to stock up on supplies. They act like it’s the Apocalypse or something. My wife is acting the same way, making list for me to go down to the store so we can stock up. I refuse to stock up on stuff that I know that I wont need. If the power goes out, we can just go somewhere else to eat. The fireplace is gas powered so I don’t need to worry about the heat. We have tons of candles, so I don’t need to worry about like. I like the candle light anyway. And if the TV goes out I would like to play some games by candle light. The candle light is the best kind of light to have, if your want to have a nave romantic night. I have the radio all charged up and have batteries too. And as for cooking. I have prepared a bunch of steak and chicken skewers to cook on the BBQ. There is nothing that can keep me from having a nice night, even if the power goes out.
